After being nominated for both ‘Best Event Film’ and ‘Best Editing,’ the Falken Tyre 24h Nürburgring 2024 film “Why We Race” was named ‘Best Event Film’ at this year’s International Motor Film Awards, held at Alexandra Palace, London, on Friday, 4 October 2024.
With 2024 marking the fifth consecutive year of nominations, this achievement also represents the third time I have taken home the trophy. Previous wins include “Whatever Comes Our Way” (2020) and “A Monument to the Art of Racing” (2023).
To date, the award-winning film has garnered over 3.6 million views. “Why We Race” was released in July and chronicles the relentless pursuit and unwavering passion that define the Nürburgring 24-hour race.
